Science & Origin of Mugglestone<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Mugglestone Crystal is a variety of Tiger Iron. It is a stone that contains Tiger Eye<\/a>, Red Jasper<\/a>, and Hematite<\/a>. This combination crystallizes in massive formation with a banded pattern that distinguishes each stone\u2019s individual creation layer. The name comes from a deposit of Tiger Iron that was found in the U.K. in the 11th century. It was near the town of Mucklestone, where the name is believed to have originated from.<\/p>\n

As of recently, Mugglestone has been designated for a majority of Tiger Iron that comes out of South Africa. The reason for this is not exactly clear. Although it is believed the naming of these localities was to re-imagine and distinguish the difference in Tiger Iron from South Africa and the rest of the world.<\/p>\n
