It can be found crystallized in any form that Quartz is found in.<\/p><p>Its name derives from the Greek word meaning \u03ba\u03af\u03c4\u03c1\u03bf that translates to Citron. Some of the most famous Citrine in the world comes from the Minas Geras region of Brazil. It is followed by Sri Lanka and India. Lately, beautiful specimens have been found in Madagascar. However, this crystal can be found virtually everywhere.<\/p><h2><strong>History of Citrine<\/strong><\/h2><p>There is much debate as to the true history and correct identification of Citrine. Multiple civilizations have used the word Citrion to describe any yellow gemstone in color.<\/p><p>Oftentimes, these gemstones were actually Quartz, Topaz, <a href=\"https:\/\/thecrystalcouncil.com\/crystals\/jade\">Jade<\/a>, Aventurine, and Beryls (<a href=\"https:\/\/thecrystalcouncil.com\/crystals\/aquamarine\">Aquamarine<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/thecrystalcouncil.com\/crystals\/heliodor\">Heliodor<\/a>).<\/p><p>To this date, we cannot find a defining period of when the naming of Citrine had occurred. We firmly believe that in many old texts Citrine was commonly referenced due to its extremely high vibratory.<\/p><p>Our ancient ancestors were highly intuitive and would not let this magical stone slip past them.<\/p><h2><strong>Fake vs Natural Citrine<\/strong><\/h2><p>Natural Citrine is a very rare and expensive stone with some specimens selling for hundreds of thousands of dollars. Due to this, a large counterfeit market was created.<\/p><p>This group has flooded the mineral world with fake versions, which is simply heat-treated <a href=\"https:\/\/thecrystalcouncil.com\/crystals\/amethyst\">Amethyst<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/thecrystalcouncil.com\/crystals\/smoky-quartz\">Smoky Quartz<\/a>.<\/p><p>When one is looking to purchase a piece of natural Citrine, be extremely wary of the seller as well as its color and size. The best way to describe Citrines&#8217; natural hue is as a faint tint of yellow\/orange.<\/p><p>Any bold shade or vibrant color should immediately raise questions. Also, be wary of the size, any piece over a few inches should range for at least a few hundred dollars if not thousands (depending on the quality).<\/p><h2><strong>Energy &amp; Meaning<\/strong><\/h2><p>Citrine is a master of one&#8217;s creativity center, which houses some of our strongest manifestative energies. This area has been known to be the key to not only unlocking our personal will but to also unlocking our truest desires.<\/p><p>When one is truly looking for a change or a spark of imagination, Citrine\u2019s energy has no bounds.
