It crystallizes in the form of masses, tabular crystals, and even rarely, stalactites.<\/p>\n<p>This mineral was first recorded in 1800 by D.L.G. Karsten, and was named for the Greek word meaning \u201cheavy\u201d, due to its high specific gravity.<\/p>\n<p>Barite\u2019s color palette includes blue, white, grey, yellow, and brown. The most common form Barite is found in is its distinct \u201cDesert Rose\u201d shape.<\/p>\n<p>This shape occurs naturally and consists of blades of Barite almost perfectly forming the shape of a beautiful rose.<\/p>\n<p>Barite is most abundantly found in the countries of Romania, England, Morocco, and the USA<\/p>\n<p>Historically, Barite has been used for a multitude of different purposes over the course of centuries.<\/p>\n<p>In the 1800\u2019s, Barite was used for the production of Barium Hydroxide, which was a common chemical used in sugar refining.<\/p>\n<p>Today, Barium is used in the manufacturing of LED glass for TV and computer screens.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Meaning &amp; Energy<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Barite is a crystal that activates our third eye and crown chakras, bringing with it energies that help awaken ones psychic abilities.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a stone of inner vision, inter- dimensional travel, and communication with our guides and guardian angels.<\/p>\n<p>Barite pushes us to come in contact with and align to our higher self, which passively increased ones wisdom and mental awareness.<\/p>\n<p>Meditating with this stone will push one to operate on a higher frequency and can cause increased lucid dreaming, E.S.P., and \u201cdeja vu\u201d moments.<\/p>\n<p>These moments are all occurring to push you towards the correct life path that you truly desire. The universe, and your higher self, is assisting you along the physical journey of your life.<\/p>\n<p>For increasing the effects of the psychic abilities Barite offers, The Crystal Council recommends either placing a piece under your pillowcase each night, or directly atop one&#8217;s forehead.<\/p>\n<p>If you do not have a flat cabochon, simply taping it to your forehead will work! Doing this will not only activate your connection to the dream world, but also strengthen and unlock your third eye.<\/p>\n<p>Our third eye is used to see what the dream world has to offer.
