Pink Banded Onyx Crystal is a newly discovered calcite-onyx mineral that forms in mass formations. The stone has unique banding patterns. These range in colors of brown and white to red and pink. It is best displayed after a polish has been applied to it. This makes this a great stone for any craftsman to shape into spheres, towers, palmstones, hearts, tumbled and more.

The only known locality of this mineral is located in Afghanistan. It is very challenging to source and get out of the country for political reasons at the time of this writing (March 2025).
